Help with opening a scooters store

Hey guys,

I am contemplating opening a scooter store with my brother in California. I am trying to get as much information as I possibly can in regards to this. Recommendations, ideas, things to not do, legalities, etc. I really think that this is a great business to get into as I enjoy riding myself and I know that given the times we live in there is a great market for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you do take this endeavor on! As a scooter riding enthusiast, not business owner, my recommendations would be to look into renting scoots' if the insurance isn't crazy and you live in a touristy area. Also, I ride a yamaha vino 125 and it would would be nice to go to a shop that A. knows what they are talking about (my motorcycle dealer is ok, ish) and B. carries/has available aftermarket parts for it.
