My name is George,
I am a mild mannered middle aged man, a man like many, a man who is a 'Scooter Enthusiast'.
By day I go about my everyday life, pay the bills, socialize, du some shopping, buy groceries, doo chores, ect., by night I eat supper, watch T.V., catch a movie, go to a concert or a show, go to the tavern, clean up after a BBQ, ect..
I have had a scooter obsession most of my life, I am going to stick to the ones I own nowadays. I have a membership in a prestigeous scooter club; www.salemscooterbikeclub.mysite.com ; that is: The Salem Scooter - Bike Club, we have been officially active since 0:00.00 1-1-2000ad. This year is our 'Golden 10th!' our 10th year anniversary, (all year long). In the SSBC our only true rule is that every member must have a helmet. It is a pretty safe rule, and having a helmet keeps you from having to pay dues and membership fees.
What more can I say?, except for I adore scootering and I enjoy the scooterist lifestyle!

Whaaah! Okay,... welp, I finally did it..... I purchesed a 'project bike'!! The seller says it is a '50's bike. I am going to feature the bike on SSBC. I do have definate plans for the thing. WHO? Who does restorations in or near the Northwest? I was looking and got frustrated.... I live in Portland, and I have talked to Pat at P-Town, he says they will do it for me, and the 'resto-guy' at Sportique reccommended P-Town, ...but it is allways best to get a second opinion `ya know. Call it laziness... but I don't feel like 'finger-searching' every-body. WCLW fixes Lambrettas, I got that.... Sportique fixes Vespas... I got that. I know of Casa Lambretta, and P-Town,...
