Hey, you shoulda phoned, but cool, no big, a couple weeks.  It's cool, but I wish you were here.... You know Vespa mechanicals....  I 'broke' my P-Vespa yesterday while I was waiting for `ya.  I rode to get the mail, went out to the Caplinger st (to 'gunn' the motor high speed) turned the corner, 1st gear allright, 2nd gear okay, 3rd and my power got lost, 4th gear maxxed out at 15mph, .....and I barely made it up the driveway to the garage. I have no idea what is wrong with it yet, maybe it is the throttle cable (but I dn't know how to fix a Vespa throttle cable either).... oh, heck.

So, hopefully I will have it fixxed by the time you come up, this kinda bums my summer so far.  Heck.  Okay, just LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO VISIT (OR PHONE IF YOU FIND YERSELF IN TOWN) AND THAT WILL BE COOL ENOUGH.  Okay, heck...... heck.

Hi, whatever I guess, Saturday would be best, but I don't know the details.... If you can make it Friday and everything is cool weather-wise sure, just as I said call first, so I know you're in Salem and you're on your way over.    Either way, I'll be waiting Friday and if you don't come Friday I'll expect you on Saturday.
